Celebration Media U.S. and Talk of the Town News, sponsors of the CMUS Talk of the Town Customer Satisfaction Awards that honor companies who excel in providing excellent customer satisfaction, receive feedback from customers who are proud of their award-winning status.
Online PR News – 06-June-2011 –The CMUS Talk of the Town Customer Satisfaction Awards, which have been honoring companies and professionals for providing excellent customer service since 2009, had the tables turned recently and in a review of its own customers found companies very pleased with their award and recognition.
The awards, presented by Talk of the Town News, Customer Care News magazine and Celebration Media U.S. (CMUS), recognize companies and professionals that provide excellent customer service as reported by their customers through no-cost, user-review websites, blogs, social networks, business rating services, and other honors and accolades. This data is analyzed by a team of researchers who calculate a company’s CMUS Power Rating™. Only those that receive a 4-star to 5-star rating receive the CMUS Talk of the Town Customer Satisfaction Award.
Here’s what recent award winners have to say:
Julie Kimball of Katie’s Homemade Ice Cream in Hyannis, Mass., says, “The Talk of the Town award tells us at Katie's how well we are doing for our customers. To us, our customers are number one, and we want to make sure we are meeting their needs. This also allows us to market our business, keep ahead of our competitors and give our staff positive feedback. All in all, this award has been beneficial in allowing us to better serve our customers and fulfill their needs.”
“Mythos was honored to receive a Talk of the Town award for excellence in customer service for the last two consecutive years,” says Gil Sternbach of Mythos Greek Taverna in Coral Springs, Fla. “While we have been named in several local ‘Best of’ lists, what impressed us and our patrons most is that Talk of the Town is an independent, out-of-state agency that determines award eligibility based on objective criteria that are easily verifiable by the public using the Internet. From our restaurant's perspective, there is no question that displaying the award plaque at the restaurant and corresponding badge of approval on our website has contributed to our credibility and new business. Moreover, having now set the bar for performance in customer service for two consecutive years, our establishment and staff feel compelled to uphold the standard and achieve the same or better rating each year hereafter.”
“Talk of the Town is a respected company known for rating and recognizing industry leaders,” says Sam Green of Stephen Lim, DDS & Associates in New York, N.Y. “Because Talk of the Town tracks customer satisfaction from reviews and star ratings, consumers can depend on Talk of the Town award recipients to provide excellent products and services.”
“What Talk of the Town is doing is a service that is essential for any service provider to look forward to being recognized and excelling in what they are doing,” says Executive Chef Maurice Afraimi of Naan & Kabab Mediterranean Restaurant in Reno, Nev. “I don’t know of any other company that takes into consideration all of our testimonials, reviews, scores and feedback online and has taken the time to give recognition to those that are constantly trying to improve their product and service. I totally believe this will help those who have not received the award strive harder to reach that level, and that those who have reached award status will benefit from showcasing what they have accomplished…. Thank you Talk of the Town and all that you do.”
“We at King Car Wash take special pride in our ‘customer satisfaction award’ status because it measures an intangible asset,” says Frank Trilla of King Car Wash in Westmont, Ill. “Our reputation for great customer service took years to establish, and Talk of the Town has been a great resource to let people know we care. We just received an international award for ‘Environmental Leadership’ in Las Vegas last month. That was great, but would be meaningless without satisfied customers. Thanks for monitoring our customer feedback!”
“Awards make a big difference for any business,” says Thomas Fotis of Café Angelinos in Waltham, Mass. “Some people are familiar with Talk of the Town and some aren’t. Either way, the award gives people something positive to talk about when they are talking about my business. Talk of the Town gives owners that are thriving the tools to show their customers that [they] care about their experience. We have won for two years and want to win again next year. Our team is excited to use the award to let our customers know that what they think really matters to us and that we will take care of them each and every time they come in.”
Lila Metcalf of Urban Kidz in Scottsdale, Ariz., says, “As the owner of Urban Kidz, a kid's clothing boutique shop, my staff and I pride ourselves on being the ‘Talk of the Town Award Winner for Best in Customer Service.’ Our motto is to ‘Grow Up In Style;’ and [to] maintain clientele that will be with us from baby to teen years, our store must provide an excellent selection of one-of-a-kind fashions and unbeatable customer service. Urban Kidz’ Talk of the Town award is proudly displayed in our window, inviting new and returning customers to come in and know they are our number-one priority. As a back-to-back winner of the Talk of the Town award, Urban Kidz continues to strive in not only setting the bar in customer service, but also surpassing the expectations of our shoppers. It brings our team of stylists together in an effort to deliver personal styling attention that our customers expect and deserve. The Talk of the Town award has done wonders for Urban Kidz by setting a goal for our store, encouraging our staff [members] to work together in delivering a fabulous, one-of-a-kind shopping experience to every customer.”
