J. Jeffrey Rice named Super Lawyer for sixth year

For the sixth consecutive year, J. Jeffrey Rice, managing partner for the Southwest Florida law firm Goldstein, Buckley, Cechman, Rice & Purtz, P.A., has been selected for inclusion in the Florida Super Lawyers list by Super Lawyers magazine. Only five percent of Florida attorneys are named by Super Lawyers.

The Florida Super Lawyers list is a professional listing of attorneys from numerous areas of litigation who have been selected for their personal and professional achievements in the legal profession by their peers and independent evaluation.

Rice is certified as a civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and admitted to practice in the U.S. 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. Rice is on the Grievance Committee for the Fort Myers Division of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Rice emphasizes his practice on commercial law, construction law, construction lien cases and real estate closings for clients.

Of the 90,000 members of The Florida Bar, Rice is one of only 12 certified in three areas of law and one of only four attorneys in the state who are certified in Civil Trial, Business Litigation and Construction Law.

Super Lawyers was first published in 1991. In February 2010 Super Lawyers was acquired by Thomson Reuters, the world’s leading source of intelligent information for businesses and professionals. Super Lawyers can be found online at www.superlawyers.com where lawyers can be searched by practice area and location.
