A second vehicle recall comes from Nissan just months after millions of other models recalled exposes 1800CarWreck.TV's Dallas Car Wreck Attorneys
/EINPresswire.com/ Dallas, TX (Dallas Personal Injury Lawyer News) Nissan is recalling more vehicles, such as the Pathfinder and the Infiniti QX4 SUV report the Dallas Car Wreck Attorneys from 1800CarWreck.TV. This recall is due to an issue with the upper strut housing.
Dallas Car Wreck Attorneys explain that the reason for the vehicle recall is water and salt are entering into the upper strut housing through a defect hole. Once it makes its way to this important compartment, corrosion will begin to take place and the strut housing may break. If the strut housing breaks away from where it is originally located under the hood, the driver will begin to experience a hard time with steering and odd grinding noises emanating from under the hood say the Dallas Car Wreck Attorneys.
Although there is no major cause for concern at that point, it can and will become dangerous very quickly was the Dallas Car Wreck Attorneys at 1800CarWreck.TV. Once the strut housing is freed from its original position, it may make contact with the steering column of the vehicle, causing it to crack and break. This would ultimately result in a loss of the driver being able to steer. The damage done to the steering column will increase the risk of an auto accident greatly.
Nissan has put out a statement confirming that they will inspect and repair the strut housing without any charge. As of right now, there have been thirty-five reports made to the National Highway Safety Administration regarding the problems with the affected Nissan models confirms the Dallas Car Wreck Attorneys.
Nissan, which is the number two automobile producer in Japan, has recently had two other vehicle recalls as well. This most recent recall is occurring only two months after their past recalls, which affected more than two million automobiles report the Dallas Car Wreck Attorneys and Dallas Personal Injury Lawyers at 1800CarWreck.TV.
