Highway accidents take place in hasty and unexpected circumstances. It is one of the major causes of injuries and death in the country. Aside from highway accidents that occur because of drivers’ behavior, including negligent driving or driving under the influence, the condition of the highway also contributes to accidents. Many times a small flaw on the road could cause a driver to lose control of his or her car and crash.

Across the United States' 4 million-mile long highway system, a huge number of dangers lie ahead of you and your automobile each day. Outdated roads, insufficient traffic signs and lights, and a lack of safe crosswalks for pedestrians all contribute to dangerous travel conditions.
