Business Awards: Feb. 14, 2011

■ Michael Justus of Justus-Campbell Designs , a floral shop at 2573 Richmond Road, Suite 380, was awarded first place in the Novice Event with the theme "A birthday arrangement for your niece, who is turning six" at the Kentucky Florist Association's annual convention in January.

■ Pearse Lyons and Jim Host have received the first Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Commonwealth Legacy Awards for the roles they played in large economic projects in Kentucky in 2010. Host was honored for his role in building the KFC Yum Center in Louisville. Lyons was recognized for his involvement in the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Lexington. Both projects were determined to have left a profound impact and a lasting legacy on Kentucky.

■ Frost Brown Todd has become a member of The Network of Trial Law Firms, an international defense trial organization. Charles M. Pritchett has been selected as the firm's principal Kentucky representative.

■ Lexington Clinic has been designated as a "better performer" by the Medical Group Management Association Performance and Practices of Successful Medical Groups: 2010 Report Based on 2009 Data because of superior operational performance compared with similar medical group practices nationwide.

■ The Lexington Advertising Club presented its 2010-11 ADDY Awards for advertising creative excellence Feb. 12 at the Hyatt Regency Downtown. The annual event was attended by more than 180 local advertising, marketing and media professionals. ■ Lexington Ford dealer Paul E. Miller has received a Salute to Dealers award from Ford Motor Co. for exhibiting unparalleled dedication to the community. He is one of four North American dealers to receive the award this year from nearly 4,000 dealers across the United States and Canada. Miller's contributions include: establishment of the Paul Miller Foundation in 1954, which provides scholarships to students at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine; donation of a 36,500-square-foot space to the 2010 Alltech World Equestrian Games and the Kentucky Horse Park; and donation of more than 15,000 trees through the Reforest the Bluegrass program. The Salute to Dealers Program is conducted under the guidance of Edsel B. Ford II, a member of Ford's board of directors.

■ Stoll Keenon Ogden has been selected by Corporate INTL Magazine as the 2010 Competition Antitrust Law Firm of the Year in Kentucky. The Stoll Keenon Ogden Antitrust Practice Group has experience in the full range of civil and criminal antitrust litigation and counseling. Lawyers in the group have handled matters before federal and state courts across the country and before the Federal Trade Commission.

■ The Louisville Bar Association has awarded Stites & Harbison the Paul G. Tobin Pro Bono Service Award. It was presented for providing pro bono legal services to victims of domestic violence at court hearings that decide whether temporary protective orders should be turned into permanent protective orders.
