Highway dedication ceremony

Dedication honors the memory of Patricia Ann Weston who was a respected and dedicated employee who mentored many planners and engineers throughout her 30-year state career with Caltrans. She was instrumental in developing the Transportation Development Act; in securing Urban Mass Transportation Administration grants; and in writing the 1998 Interregional Strategic Plan, “GoCalifornia”, and the Governor’s

Strategic Growth Plan.

She passed away unexpectedly on September 8 of 2009. On March 4, 2010, Senate Concurrent Resolution (SCR) 84 was introduced by Senator Sam Aanestad naming State Route 99 in Sutter County, from post mile 36 to post mile 40, as the Patricia Ann Weston Memorial Highway in Live Oak, California.

Where: Parking lot of Pasquini’s Fine Italian Food restaurant located at 6241 Live Oak Boulevard (State Highway 99 near Lomo Crossing)
