Car Accident Lawsuit Filed Against Woman Who Texted While Driving

Being distracted while driving is one of the main causes of car accidents in the country, and one woman who allegedly couldn't put down the phone may be found responsible for a car crash.

A woman has filed a car accident lawsuit against another driver who allegedly caused the accident while texting.

According to UltimateLakeHouston, Gladys Gorrell filed a car accident lawsuit against Stephanie Escobar, claiming negligence.

The lawsuit states that Gorrdel was in a parking lot when Escobar was haphazardly cutting through the parking lot spaces, while texting before hitting the side of her car, according to the news source.

The plaintiff is actively seeking damages from the car accident , including, actual damages, medical costs, physical pain, mental anguish in the past and future, loss of earnings, court costs and any other damages that she is entitled to through the court, according to the news source.
